I see fatherhood as my biggest calling in life. Building a house, or getting published are great goals, but nothing will impact the generations to come like raising children who follow Christ’s example. And I see being a good husband as one of the best ways to positively impact my children. Family is the greatest gift from God, next only to the gift of Himself and the redemption He brings.

I graduated from Messiah College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, compressing a 4 year degree into 3 years. Since then, I’ve spent 3 years in industry, and 4 years teaching math. I’m a very mathematically minded and mechanically inclined person. I like things that make logical sense.

I’ve always loved music. I’ve played violin since I was very young, and since then have picked up guitar. I love trying out new instruments. I’ve recorded a few of my own songs over the years, and I try to record one Christmas song each year.

Since I was a kid, I loved to mess around with Adobe Illustrator on my dad’s computer. From team jerseys to business logos, I’ve been graphic designing ever since.

Frisbee-er
Through out college and beyond, I've played competitive ultimate at just about every chance I've had. And when I've found myself in a place without competitive ultimate, I've just started (or in one case, restarted) a program. I've played, captained, coached, organized. I love the game, and I especially love the friends I've made through ultimate.
